EU Referendum

Following the outcome of the UK’s referendum on its membership of the EU, there will now be a period of uncertainty and it’s likely to be some time before we fully understand what this means for marine policy.

In the meantime, it’s vitally important that we continue to work together across boundaries and sectors to ensure a healthy, sustainable future for our seas and the people who depend on them. Throughout the project we have received strong support in this endeavour from all the administrations across the Celtic Seas, including the Isle of Man which already operates outside the EU. We remain committed to ensuring that the work and relationships we’ve developed together are sustained beyond the life of the project.
